Mexican Black Kingsnake

Mexican Black Kingsnakes (MBK) are nocturnal snakes native to southern Arizona and northwestern Mexico. MBK’s are most well known for their black/dark brown coloration and iridescent reflection in sunlight. MBK’s tend to have little to no patterns,

Adult MBK’s grow between 40-52 inches.

When preparing your enclosure, keep in mind that MBK’s native habitat tend to be arid with sandy to stony soil. MBK’s can climb, but make sure to include multiple hides. The minimum enclosure size for one MBK is 48'“ L x 24” W x 24” H.
